Before I post it, I must ask your permission. I'd like to use the Logo that you made for Foe Pink Eyes in order to post links of the Audiobook that I'm making of Pink Eyes on DeviantArt. Since it is your image, I have to ask. I promise to credit you, but I need your permission first.
I wanted to ask how to create a Char Nav template. I was going to make one for Guise of Chaos, which I feel warrants one what with all the characters from different factions etc. I was going to call it Template:GoCCharNav
Also I have noticed certain quote templates have been overlapping with charinfoboxes and images like in the Undoer's page and Brimstone Blitz's page, I don't know what I can do to fix this.
One thing though. I noticed you add a LOT of space between the leading paragraph and the first section in almost every article. This isn't necessary; the design is supposed to make the content mold itself around the image on the right. In the future, please don't add those linebreaks.
ALSO: Please use Fav.me links when sourcing images!
Hi Takeru. Ever vigilant Tonto here with a question. How do I go about, renaming image files? I posted Luna's Cutie Mark but the name is too complicated or something and won't show up in the Cutie mark slot of the charinfobox. I wanted to rename it to CM-Luna like you did with the Mane 6's.
Yeah, it still has to be enclosed in brackets. That allows for text descriptions of cutie marks when there's no image available. I can still rename image files if you like, since they need to be renamed anyways.
The Murky Number Seven one is formatted perfectly. ^_^
One thing I should note is that the "Behind the Scenes" section should only include information about the character that's out-of-universe and beyond the scope of the story. Right now, most of the stuff I see in his "Behind the Scenes" section is related to Murky's appearance (which should be moved to the "Appearance" section under traits). "Behind the Scenes" is more for things like "The author wrote this character to resemble his real-life little brother" or "His character appears to be based off of John Doe from Fallout 4." If there's no behind-the-scenes information, it's alright to leave the section out.
Also, don't forget to turn keywords into links as often as you can using brackets.
And with spoilers, you only really need to use those in the lead section of the article and the infobox. It's okay to unhide spoilers from the rest of the sections.
I didn't make the edits to the Murky page or the behind the scenes section. Rather I made the original Murky page like Inkwells and someone popped in and edited it. Inkwell's page is the typical format I use, but I will change it later to be more like Murky's page.
Also I just wanted to mention that the first Cazadorable image on the Cazadorable page was made by the author of Raider and kid for use here on the wiki. He hasn't posted it on DA or the Ask tumblr as far as I know.
Haha, if you think I've been keeping up to date, you should check out Tonto's contributions. He's added more pages than I can keep track of. They need serious formatting, proofreading, and templating, but still, and it's a crapton of new content that I never would have been able to crank out myself. I think the wiki's article count shot up by a hundred between now and the time he first started editing. :D
Hi Takeru/Sensei Yamamoto. I was curious about the blog entry/news regarding major stories. In order to be considered a major side-story, you either need your onw seperate post on EqD or Kkat's approval correct? Are there other ways that your story could be considered Major?
Also I couldn't add the image of Murky from Murky number seven to his character info box. I believe the File's name is complicating things. Do you think you can rename it to just Murky, or Murky drawing? I can't seem to edit it, for some reason since I can't find the file's page to do it myself.
Also thanks for helping with the Barkin' Saw page thing, that was really buggin me. Also is it possible to rename the Cutiemark bit in the character information boxes as Glyphmark for Zebra characters?
Those are the only two ways to be considered a major story, yeah.
It's been put up to question various times, actually, whether that's enough criteria to be considered a major story. We don't actually know how EqD decides what gets a separate post. With Project Horizons, they asked Kkat if it was okay for the side story to get a separate post, but Sethisto circumvented that when he put up Pink Eyes without asking anyone.
So who knows. That's all we have to go on, right now. There are over 80 side stories, so it's difficult to say which ones should be counted as "major stories".
