This page contains the Fallout Equestria Wiki's article guidelines for characters
In short, the format of every character article should look like this:
For every character, the new and updated infobox
Each character page should be categorized into one of each type of category below:
This is the very first section (prior to the table of contents), featuring one or two paragraphs that summarize the character and their basic information. All information here should be based on the time the character is introduced. Any information that reveals major plot or character developments should be hidden behind a spoiler tag.
This section should include the following:
- The infobox and an optional quote before the first paragraph.
- Name in bold, fullname in parentheses; chapter they were introduced; any common titles that the character has been referred to.
- if they are a pre-war character; race/species/sex/agerange; the story they are featured in / the type of character they are within the story.
- Full name, if applicable.
- Faction (or place of residence) and role within faction. If they are a main character, describe the role they play in the group.
- If necessary, a bit of their background.
Below are some strong examples of what a good first section should look like.
Examples of strong lead sections (Click to show -->) Article Lead Section Content
Pinkie Pie (full name Pinkamena Diane Pie), introduced in Chapter 4, was a pre-war earth pony mare and a minor character in Fallout Equestria. She was a member of the Ministry of Morale, serving as its director. Prior to the war, she was one of the original six wielders of The Elements of Harmony, representing the element of Laughter.
Littlepip (aka The Stable Dweller), introduced in Chapter 1, is a unicorn mare and the lead protagonist of Fallout: Equestria. She maintains no allegiance with any particular faction, traveling independently throughout the Equestrian Wasteland with her companions. She hails from Stable 2, where she lived until she left to pursue a fellow resident, Velvet Remedy.
SteelHooves (real name Applesnack(c.15)), introduced in Chapter 14, is a ghoul(c.15) earth pony stallion and a main character in Fallout Equestria. He is a member of Littlepip's party of wasteland wanderers, serving as the party's heavy weapons specialist. He is also a member of the Steel Rangers, where he holds the rank of Star Paladin.
As part of Littlepip's party, SteelHooves performs the role of a heavy weapons specialist and tank, primarily using missiles and grenades to dispatch foes as well as enduring attacks which would otherwise kill the others. He also serves as the party's primary source of information, being highly well-versed in the pre-war history of Equestria.
