Fallout Equestria: Shades of Grey is a fanfiction taking place in the Fallout-Equestria verse.

Written in English by French writter Gig, it follows the adventures of Spring, a young bounty hunter trying to find a better life in the forsaken Wastelands of Equestria.

Synopsis Edit

In this lightless world, the line between good and evil is not as clear as it used to be. I am no hero.

My name is Spring, and I am a bounty hunter in the Equestrian Wasteland.

Setting Edit

The story begins the Manehattan-area. As of chapter eight, the protagonists had travelled to Junction R-7, Friendship City, Tenpony Tower and to the lost Big Mountain research facility.

Canon Edit

Set during the events of Fallout: Equestria, the story will also use some of Project Horizon as canon material.

Other fanverses, such as Pink Eyes, may be referenced, but are not considered as canon.

Most of the events that occurred during, and after Friendship is Magic, Season 3 are not considered canon.

The author had made clear he may take some distance with the canon geography and timeline.

Main Characters Edit

Spring Edit

Spring is a unicorn mare in her twenties. With her grey coat and her dark mane, she does not really stand out in the Wastelands.

Cynical, self-centered, she threws most of her ethics out the windows when she realized how frail a pony's life was. While she firmily belives to be a 'good' pony, her controversial actions will eventually catch up with her and make her wonder about her place in the world.

Meridian Edit

Content in this section is linked to content from Meridian Fraying (Shades of Grey). Please edit that page to modify this section.

Meridian is an Earth Pony in his early forties. Besides his looks - he is clearly a crossover between Dr. Hooves and the Mysterious Stranger - very little is known about him. Secretive, he seems to have a good alignment.

Oddly enough, he seems to believe the Elements of Harmony will eventually fix up everything.

SAIOS Edit

Content in this section is linked to content from SAIOS (Shades of Grey). Please edit that page to modify this section.

Saios is an artificial intelligence. Spring started it up by mistake while exploring Big Mountain.

Bipolar, it keeps on switching between very cold and formal declarations and heated monologues on sciences and technologies.

Evey Edit

Content in this section is linked to content from Evey (Shades of Grey). Please edit that page to modify this section.

Evey is an artificial alicorn. Spring, the protagonist of Shades of Grey, freed her from Stable 87.

Kind hearted, she does not seem to make any difference between reality and imagination.

Minor characters Edit

Crowneigh Edit

Crowneigh is a ghoul living in Friendship City. He is Spring's employeer at the beginning of the story. She kills him shortly afterward.

Van Graff Edit

Van Graff (the Fourth) is the owner of the Silver Rush in Tenpony Tower. He only lives for energy weapons, and will kick out of his shop anypony who dare wander in with a powder-based gun.

Chrystal Edit

Chrystal is a gunseller in Friendship City. Described by Spring as a 'gorgeous mare' and a 'black widow', she is a very dangerous opponent when it comes to barter.

Sunburn Edit

Sunburn is a mercenary ghoul. He used to be in the Airborn Artillery during the Great War. He loves Scotch, good jokes and explosions.

Liberty Shield Edit

Liberty Shield is a guard in Tenpony Tower. Spring shot him during her escape, but he is said to have survived.

Feather Edit

Feather is a young filly, met in Junction R-7, who 'hires' Spring to kill the raiders who murdered her parents.
